Creating and Maintaining a RELATIONSHIP with GOD

My husband and i are on a spiritual cleansing and prayer Journey together. As we occupy until 2009 we are taking more time out to be honest in our prayer life, to grow our prayer life and establish and maintain a relationship with GOD. Our Pastor, Dr.John C. Evans Jr., was led by God to begin our church family on cleansing and prayer journey. We are reading a book titled, Returning to Holiness: A personal and Church wide Journey to Revival by Dr. Gregory R. Frizzell.

The book is very enlightening and causes you to stop and think about your own christian walk and the type of relationship you have with Jesus Christ,If you have a relationship at all. Just coming to church and sitting in the pews is not a relationship with the Lord. Only praying when you say your Grace is not a relationship with the Lord. If this is all you are doing to acknowledge that you are aware of his existence this is not enough. There is so much more that needs to be done to develop your relationship with the Lord. It is no different than our relationships with our humans. If it is someone we are interested in we want to know more about them. We spend more time talking to them and listening to what they have to say. We plan time to do things with them.

We want to be in a private place with them to become intimate with them if only in the expression of a hug or a kiss. We groom our relationships we really care about, we cater to the needs of the individual and we will do almost anything to SHOW THEM that we love them and want them in our lives. When we think and feel that we most certainly have found the right one, we are ready to ask them to spend the rest of their lives with us. We just know we want to be with them forever and whatever comes along we will handle it together. We make a vow before God and Man to never leave them nor forsake them. We come into a covenanted relationship with them.

If it is so easy to do this with another creation,WHY IS IT SO HARD TO COMMIT TO GOD ? If love is an action then JESUS has shown us the ultimate. No greater Love than a man lay down his life for another man. For us he suffered, died and was buried and he ROSE AGAIN to fulfill the scriptures and give us a chance at salvation if we wanted to be free ! No man has ever loved me that much or done that for me and i know my own earthly daddy loved me ! If you want what is best for your life you must want a relationship with the Lord. You want someone who will always be faithful to you, never leave you, take care of you, provide for you , be honest to you and listen to you. That is JESUS !

If you want to get to know this wonderful person you have to spend time with him, you have to talk with him, not just 5 or 10 mins. a day or even with a 2 sec. devotional, you have to sit down and talk to him. Open up your heart and pour it out to him. Tell him everything. Ask him anything. Talk to him in prayer.Prayer is your time to converse with the Lord and then allow him to speak back to you. Get to know him, find out what he likes or dislikes. Even find out what he likes you to wear that pleases him and how he expects you to act, react and talk when you are representing him . If he is your LOVE you want to please him. You already know he is going to give you everything in his power that is his WILL . In order to find out what he likes, wants, desires and deserves in return for his SHOW OF LOVE, you MUST read his Word. You must steal away to a quite place with him and read about him. Learn about him and put these things in your heart.

I do not know about YOU but my husband and i are guilty of not spending enough time growing and strengthening our relationship with the Lord. Yes we pray together with our son in the mornings and yes we go to church and yes we say Grace at the table and i read my Word some days other than Sunday but that is not enough. We need to find some quality time in our every day lives that GOD has blessed us to have, to spend a quite moment with him. We need to come home and find a quite spot with each other or apart from each other and talk to the one who loves us. It is important that we be honest with him and that means repenting of the things we have done out of his will and his way in each day.

We must read his Word, Meditate upon his Word and put it in our hearts so that we can truly know it and use it in our every day lives. The Word must be applied in our lives in situations that we can find ourselves in that might cause us to react in a manner not pleasing to him. If we can stop a moment and speak the Word or call it forth from our hearts and minds then we can represent him in our reaction or response to the situation. When you really spend quality time with the Lord it shows in everything you do because it is so different from anything else in this World. A few months ago this year i finally decided to do what the Lord had been telling me to and clean out my closet again. Before i stopped keeping it organized it was used as a family prayer closet. As i began to allow things to fall on the floor and throw my shoes in the closet and my traveling bag, it started to get crowded in there and there was no longer any room for us as a family to come together. I was too busy to find time to take care of this and put it back in order,though it should have been a top priority with me.

The Lord was speaking to me on several occasions , telling me to clean the closet back out so my family and I could go back in it and pray the way we use to do. We were getting together in other areas in the house but this was a significant spot. It was set aside for GOD as a place for us to meet with him and talk with him and it should have been kept decent and in order. One day i found myself at home with plenty of time. He spoke to me again and this time i had to repent for my failure to do what i should have done at the time he told me to. I put my hand to the plow and did not look back.

Our spot to meet with the Lord is back in order in our home and i am going to keep it that way. In our relationship this is our special place that we meet the Lord as a family and individually. We have rededicated ourselves to spending more time in prayer and reading of the scriptures because it is important that Jesus knows we love him and we are going to be faithful to only him , as it is in any relationship where you have put your heart and trust. Instead of just the 5 mins. of family prayer in the morning, we are starting out with 20 mins. each night after reading our assigned book and studying the scriptures along with it. As we grow i know this time will increase. It has to for our relationship to grow with the one we say we love.

Love is just a Word. It means nothing without action. Just as Jesus showed us how much he loved us we must show him also. Love is sacrifice. We must sacrifice our time to be with him. If we want to truly know him and all that he has for us we have to read his Will for our lives and listen to his voice. None of us is perfect we all fall down but we have to get back up and dust ourselves off and keep going. My husband and i fall short every day and if you all are honest with yourselves you do too ! We must be honest and ask God for forgiveness everyday in every area of our lives, even our thoughts which can be so disturbing and evil. They can cause us to be out of the will of God just because an imagination has raised itself up in our minds that is against the very nature of God-2Corinthians 10:5
Pray for us while spending quality time with the Lord and we will pray for you also. It is important to be an intercessor while talking with the Lord. Some of our loved ones or acquaintances may be in a place where they do not feel they can pray their way out. We must go before the throne for them on their behalf. We must also remind them that it is not about the way you feel it is about the PROMISE in the WORD of GOD ! No matter what it feels like to the flesh or looks like to the natural eye , We must remember that GOD is a spirit and we must deal with things spiritually. We must use the Word in our situations and we must speak them over our family and friends and anyone in need !

Let us all work on improving our relationship with the one we KNOW loves us because he showed us. God's continued GRACE and MERCY in your lives for the upcoming new year.AMEN.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL -Based on the WORD

Tonight my son and i watched an old Christmas favorite, 'A Christmas Carol', and we watched it from a different point of view. I took this opportunity to use this tale to show Phillip just how God's Grace and Mercy works in our lives. Ebenezer Scrooge, though he was a mean and bitter old man, was given GRACE by God. He was given a second chance to change his life and to change his heart. I pointed this out to Phillip as he watched the ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future come into this man's life and show him the different stages of his life.

The ghost of Christmas Past showed him a time in his life when he was young and care free. He had a different outlook on life and on the holiday his self. He had not had many experiences in his life to make his heart cold. His heart was open and therefore easily wounded or disappointed . The ghost of Christmas Present showed him that in life people go forth whether you want to be a part of their lives or not. You have to make a choice to live life to the fullest , sharing God's love by pouring into the lives of others to fulfill them and make them richer. They in turn will make your live fuller and richer. Christmas is a spirit. It is a spirit of Love, Sharing, Giving, Compassion, things we should be outpouring all year anyway. Despite the things that have come our way we choose how we will handle those things and how we will allow them to effect our lives and our perception of things.

As each scene of the movie played before us, i discussed the meaning of them from a spiritual aspect. I discussed with my son the way God watches over us in all situations. He wants us to show his love in our temples so that others may see him and be blessed by his presence. When we do not show his love to others we can be a 'stumbling block' or 'rock of offence' to them if they are not spiritually mature enough to walk around us or climb over us and our negative ways. Instead of asking God to heal our past wounds we take our hurt out on others. We lash out at others from our heart because our heart holds the truth of who we are and what we are.

The ghost of Christmas Future showed Ebenezer Scrooge the final chapter of all he had done while on this earth and the penalty for not being a blessing to others. He allowed him to see his eternal destiny and his legacy among men. It was not one that reflected generosity or concern for fellow man. He had not sowed seeds of love but of dislike and spitefulness. His memory was not one that warmed the heart, but it
stirred up hate and turned the heart cold as a stone because love could not come in and grow there in the soil where this seed of life once existed. I wanted Phillip to understand the importance of being a blessing in the lives of others . Because by being a blessing to others you create future blessings for yourself and your generation to come.

Who knows what may come your way because of a kind act in the past ? Your act of kindness can change a person's future. Their outlook on life can be brightened just because you cared enough to pour into their lives. I talked to Phillip about the gift of GRACE because it is a gift. God does not have to give it to us but because of his love for us he does. He gives us time to get it right with him but we must want the time and take the time. Every day he gives us is his GRACE. Each time a ghost came Ebenezer was able to follow him and see things by just walking thru walls. He had no limits...because he was in spirit form. I explained to my son that when you are quite and still you can hear God's voice speaking to you. We must be open to receiving him so that we can be shown things in the spirit. The Word of God says that 'GOD IS A SPIRIT' and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Just as God transported Paul into the heavens in the spirit and showed him things, he can do the same for you if you are open to it. Scrooge was in the spirit when God sent angels to show him his destiny,his past and his present choice. God showed him Grace by opening his ears so he could hear, opening his eyes so he could see and opening his heart so he could give and receive the LOVE. After all, God is LOVE . Phillip saw in this movie this year, a new message, one that says GOD'S GRACE is the reason we are not consumed. We are to be a blessing in the lives of others and to be people who pour into the lives of others. If God gives you another chance take it.

Finally, after the spiritual trips of Ebenezer Scrooge he realized that God had given him another chance. While in his future, he asked for another chance he told the Lord really, that he would change his life, change his heart and change his ways if the Lord would only give him another chance. He was so sorry for what he had done. Basically as i explained to my son, he REPENTED sincerely of his sins and made a decision from that point forward to change his ways and once he realized he h ad been given that second chance, just like us now, he REJOICED, he felt HAPPY, he was RELIEVED and EXCITED about the new life he was about to step forth and live. Christ had entered his heart and so he was a new creature, old things were passed away, behold all things were NEW !

At the end of the movie and the discussion my son had tears in his eyes. I knew he had been touched and i knew he understood. If i do one thing right in this world it is my rearing of a MAN of GOD. I believe that if i raise him up in the Ways of the Lord he will not depart when he is old. He may fall sometimes , he may waiver and h e might lean but he will remain on the course and if he has to crawl he will crawl in FAITH knowing that GOD'S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT.

CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR ! NOT JUST THIS MONTH OR CHRISTMAS DAY BUT ALL YEAR. GIVE THE GIFT OF LOVE AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY . POUR INTO SOME ONE'S LIFE AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE JUST AS GOD SENT CHRIST INTO OURS TO MAKE AN 'ETERNAL ' DIFFERENCE FOR OUR SOULS. MERRY CHRISTMAS.....AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS THANK YOU FOR BEING BORN !-CHRISTMAS 2008

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING..BUT GOD IS FAITHFUL

On this day we wake up as a nation of people to see the manifestation of God's plan. We have elected the first black president of these united states. A few years ago, and it was just a few, we as a people and this nation as a whole would have never considered, imagined or even entertained the very idea that a man of color would be the Commander in Chief of this country. Just a few years ago this nation could not entertain the idea of black people being in political offices, going to college and obtaining undergraduate and graduate degrees that would provide them some of the finer things in life. God gave the vision to Martin Luther King because he was willing to lay down his life....no one took it...he laid it down for US, for the cause of decency for another human being and for the right to enjoy what the Fathers of the Declaration of Independence said were certain 'inalienable rights' for all Americans.

We as a people have come a long way full of struggle, sacrifice of life and transition just to be treated with dignity and respect. To be given a fair and balanced opportunity. Always knowing that GOD would take care of those who held us in bondage, killed our babies, our men, our women and tried to kill our spirits by violence, force and unfair laws. BUT GOD. Just as the children of Israel had to endure certain afflictions and be held captive by certain other cultures and countries, we had to go thru for whatever reason only the Lord will be able to tell why he allowed. I have always believed that just as he lifted them up and out in the presence of their enemies, he would do the same for us because we come from a people to be PROUD of. He loves us just as he loves the children of Israel and he would not let the unjust acts of this country be overlooked.

He has given a man of color the Land and now he will go forth and POSSESS IT ! He has touched the heart of a people whose past ancestors had hearts full of HATE and minds full of IGNORANCE. Who shed innocent blood because of FEAR and has raised up within their generational tree children of intellect, diversity and tolerance. He has touched the heart of the children of slave ancestors and the children of Masters of plantations and created an opening to see each other as humans, to forgive and forget,to try and mend and repair for the sake of our future and the future of our children. America is now more than ever a true melting pot for many people of color. The election of Barack Obama as president of this nation has opened up a window of hope in the hearts and minds of little boys and girls of color now more than ever his election really represents the slogan 'DARE TO DREAM'.

I have cried in amazement. I have praised the Lord with gladness and i have felt my heart leap with JOY at the moving of the Lord on the hearts of the people. I have sat on my couch and remembered my father, my mother's grandfather, my mother in law, her mother and even thought of my great grandmother abby payton who came up in a time when we had to put our heads down just because a white person was coming by. We had to act as though we were dumb animals just to stay alive ! This election is for everyone person of color and every white person that stepped out surrounded by the fear and reality of death to say that the treatment of a people of color in this nation was WRONG !! This election is for FANNIE LOU HAMER who was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Who stood up for the FREEDOM DEMOCRATIC PARTY and refused to leave until they were acknowledged by the convention !!

This election is for Viola Liuzzo a white woman who was a mother of five and offered her services to the cause and it cost her LIFE in 1965. This is for her and the sacrifice of her family. This election is also for Rev. Bruce Klunder a white pastor that lost his life standing up for fairness and equality for people of color. A bulldozer rolled over him and crushed him but that could not crush the dream because you can kill the DREAMER but you can not kill the DREAM. You can not stop the vision the LORD has revealed..it will come to PAST ! This election is for JAMES CHANEY, ANDREW GOODMAN, MICHAEL SCHWERNER..who lost their lives trying to get people of color registerd to vote..the very act that made this POSSIBLE !

This election is for Addie Mae Collins, Denise McNair, Cynthia Wesley and Carole Robertson whose lives were stolen and a community was blown away by a bomb planted because of ignorance at the 16th Street Baptist Church. This election is for Vernon Dahmer who used his resources to each out to the hattiesburg community and encourage people of color to vote..he was willing to collect poll taxes for his neighbors to keep them from having to go put themselves in danger at the courthouse. Because of this his home was bombed. He lost his life because of this cowardly act. There are so many black and white who laid down there lives and paved the way with their flesh and blood for this nation to wake up and be FAIR !

FINALLY, I must address the richness of God when he does come and lift his people up in the presence of their enemies. Barack Obama is a product of a union that would get a black man lynched and a white woman killed. He is a product of looking beyond the color of the skin and seeing the person's heart, mind and soul. He is a product of a union that some white women would lie about and make it an act of violence upon them as women. They would say it was RAPE and cause a black man to lose his life whether he actually touched her or not. A simple word could cause a hanging. Barack Obama is a product of a White woman and a Black Man...and not just any black man, a black man STRAIGHT OUT OF AFRICA. Straight out of the bowels of the land of our ancestors that they were stolen from and brought here to this country like cattle. His father was an African. His people are also African and the are also Angelo-Saxon. He is a living testimony that a union of these two race of people can create something good. That a child born from this union is not something deformed or frowned upon by GOD. The very thing America hated has become the thing that will lead it and by the GRACE of God thru gifts of knowledge and wisdom will lead this country out of an economic melt down !! NOW..let us as a nation LOOK TO GOD, SERVE GOD AND PROFESS GOD for only he can bring this nation out. We are suppose to be ONE NATION UNDER GOD INDIVISIBLE WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL !!

May God encamp his angels around Barack Obama and his family ! The USA has finally shown that we have come along way. We still have some people who are ignorant when it comes to race but GOD will deal with them . We pray they will be delivered f rom this evil growth in their hearts and minds, but if not, it is up to God if he will have mercy on judgement day. AMEN.

WANT TO MAKE GOD LAUGH..TELL HIM YOUR PLANS

You want to make GOD laugh ? Tell him YOUR plans. This probably makes him really roll with laughter. My Grandmother use to always say "If God Allows". I kind of thought that was a funny saying but i was young then and did not know the LESSON she was showing me whether she knew it or not just by speaking those Words in my presence. Even then she was showing me and teaching me about the Word of God and about the truth, which is that our lives and the number of days on this earth are all controlled by GOD. He allows things to happen at a certain time and he has set the beginning and the end of our lives. He is the Author and finisher of our fate. He has the copyright on our lives from chapter ONE until the end.

My plans for this week were to attend two meetings with one of the many organizations i am involved in...along with going to work each day. Well,I MUST have forgotten that plans do not always go the way we have them formed on paper. Last Mon. when i woke up and dressed for work i had a terrible pain in my neck .I went to work with that pain in my neck and then i came home. It got so bad i had to go to the ER,where i was given a diagnosis of a damaged nerve,and given muscle relaxers and pain pills. WELL this did not stop the pain so the next day i was back at the ER again having missed work that day. To make a long story short, i went back to the ER expecting to come back home and that did not happen. I ended up unexpectedly admitted into the hospital and having major surgery. In the process i also ended up with a blood clot in my arm causing me to have to sit still for several days. This was not part of my plans..BUT as Paul advises in the WORD OF GOD, PHILLIPIANS 4:11-13'Not that i speak in respect of want; for i have learned ,in whatsoever state i am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased and i know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

In January 2008 when we walked out of church it was with a feeling of HOPE...of CHANGE...of GREAT EXPECTATIONS...Well what we did not realize is that CHANGE can come and you can grow from things in the form of TRIBULATIONS. We have had so much change in our lives. It has not changed in the way we wanted but I truly believe that GOD has a purpose for this that is GOOD and it will be for our spiritual maturity. The plans for our life were all good and full of what we thought were the answers to keeping our future secure in all aspects of our lives. Well again, you can make plans but things can be changed...sometimes we cause these changes our selves. It is so important to ask GOD first then be still so you can HEAR his answer. Pray so you can see with your spiritual vision. Things are viewed differently with the physical than with the spiritual. No matter what it looks like we must know it is spiritual warfare ALWAYS. I believe that although some of our decisions have put us in this place GOD will allow us to come out of this place if we just stand and wait on him.

I EXPECT GOD to bring us through. I EXPECT us to grow closer to him and by doing so to grow closer and closer spiritually to each other. PLANS can always change they are not guaranteed so i have learned that no matter what you plan it is most imperative that you recognize the control of GOD in our lives..and say ' IF GOD ALLOWS!' My Grandmother gave me a jewel in those words i wonder if she knows that. She planted something in me with those words. The greatest example of how plans can be changed by GOD'S INTERVENTION has to be the story of Saul on his ride down the DAMASCUS ROAD. He was armed with orders and had plans to carry those out. He had intentions and he meant to carry them out. He had plans to do what he thought was GOD'S WILL in persecuting Christians. BUT GOD....GOD changed all those plans for Saul . He changed the plans for his life for the REST OF HIS LIFE. He never planned to go forth in the name of JESUS, He never planned to preach the gospel to the gentiles and win souls for CHRIST, He never planned to be persecuted for the sake of JESUS NAME, He never planned to have to confess that HE WAS PRESENT at the stoning of Stephen BUT GOD had other plans. ALL that he went thru still caused him to WIN THE VICTORY OF ETERNAL LIFE IN THE END. He went thru because he knew that even though he was the LEAST worthy of the honor GOD gave it to him. He went through gladly for the prize of the HIGH CALLING and i along with my husband and my child will go through also. I only pray that I do so in a manner pleasing to GOD.

THE PAIN OF A VIOLATION-MARRIAGE VOWS

We can all remember the day we walked down the aisle to our future mates or when we waited for our future mate to come down the aisle to us. We waited in anticipation of knowing that in just a few minutes we would be joined to this person. They would be ours and we would be theirs. We felt that we had found the right one, the honest one, the reliable one and the one we always wanted to be with for the rest of our lives. We had found the person who allowed us to let down our guard. To remove the facade that past heartaches and disappointments in love had brought us.

In this person we put our TRUST.We laid it all out on the line for that person. We dreamed of our lives with that person. We believed it would be alright and that we would LOVE that person in the future the same way we LOVED them on our wedding day and up until that special, magical and unforgettable moment. It was a moment worth crying about because it was so open and so unashamed and so willing to be full of what ever sacrifice was necessary to make our love for each other work !

THIS is the picture we must save in our heads..and this is the place we must go to in our hearts when the person we TRUSTED so openly comes to us and tells us that they have violated their promise to GOD first and then to US to forsake all others ! What do we do as the person who has been blown away with disbelief by the words coming forth from this same person we entwined ourselves with many years ago ? What do we do if we just happen to find out accidentally ? How do you keep the enemy from gaining more of a foothold than he already has ?

Some of us who have been the violator or have been violated may say that any hurt or pain that was dished out was deserving to the person who caused so much pain..BUT as hard as it is and as MUCH as it hurts you must be in a place spiritually to go thru this and identify the enemy. Those of us that have spiritual conviction about our violation can not sleep , can not have true rest and peace unless we go before the Lord and put it at the altar..that is for both person who have been pulled into this whirlpool of hurt. Those of us who caused the hurt and those of us who received the blow. When there is a foundation within us...even if we do give in to the flesh we can not be comfortable with it and we must eventually out of fear and love go to the LORD and REPENT sincerely of having violated his trust and the trust of our mate.

As the person who commits the violation if we have the Holy Spirit within us we are shamed and we are sorrowful and we are humbled before the Lord because we know we have placed our souls in danger of HELL. There is no other truth but that we have put our souls in danger of HELL and if you tell your mate about your violation you take a chance of losing your ROCK. Because whether you want to admit it or not you are one with that person and you can not picture your life really without them in it. Sometimes you can not explain why you allowed the enemy to speak to you and whisper things in your ear, to work your flesh and give in to submission of the flesh and do what the flesh wants you to do..the end result of the flesh is death..not just physical death..but death of your mate's love and trust. TRUST is a valuable gift that once cracked will never really mend the same again..in my opinion. It is a good thing GOD is not man !

When GOD forgives your sins no matter what they are they are FORGIVEN ! They are as far away as the East and West never to be mentioned again..when you are sincere in your repentance ! MAN will not forget the violation of their trust in you and the disrespect and inconsideration of their LOVE ! BUT GOD...despite how much we hurt him with our sinful ways he will always take us back with loving arms as though we have done nothing..if we are sincere ! YES even in the violation of our vows to our mate ! How do you as the violator get back that trust and the love you had in the marriage before you strayed out under the influence and blinders of the enemy ? I say to PRAY..PRAY WITHOUT CEASING ! If you have chosen to tell your mate about your violation if you are sincerely sorry you will ask HIM OR HER TO FORGIVE YOU ..To say you are 'sorry' is just not enough. This is a spiritual hurt..this would of offense cuts deep especially when they find out and if it has been with someone they are acquainted with it CUTS EVEN DEEPER ! You must ask for forgiveness..and as much as it hurts them they must give it ! No one wants to be made a fool of for years and years or months..no one wants to know the one person they trusted should not have been trusted completely.

How do you get back to what you had ? GOD is the only one that can heal the heart of the violated and the violator . He gives you the gift of TIME to heal and restore along with the most important his WORD. You must stay in it and learn how to deal with it GOD'S way if you two really do love each other and really want to be married to each other..despite the customized tricks that satan placed in your way to make you violate your promise ! If you choose to only take it to GOD then i say that is your right too because sometimes MEN do not forget or forgive they take that anger and hurt with them always and never let you forget ! It can finish destroying a marriage that an affair has already severly damaged. Even as the person who violated you can only take so much 'punishment' from the person you hurt until you come to a point that you feel that you have PAID the price enough for something you that you did that was terrible !

Having a relationship with GOD does not mean we will not fall sometimes or mess up but having a relationship with him means we WILL BE CONVICTED AND WE CAN NOT BE COMFORTABLE IN CHOICES THAT ARE AGAINST HIS WILL ! FOR THIS WE SHOULD BE GRATEFUL ! He can restore....he can give back..he can bring upon the situation a spirit of forgiveness and desire to go thru together EVEN THIS storm block together ! When you know the enemy has done this thing and cause your mate to fall you get MAD AT THE ENEMY and you decide to call on JESUS to fight this battle because it is a spirit ..the spirit of ADULTERY ! ONLY GOD CAN FIGHT IT AND BIND IT AND DESTROY IT BEFORE IT PERMEATES YOUR MARRIAGE AND DESTROYS IT FOR GOOD !

To the person whose heart has been crushed and trust been destroyed i say..Go into your prayer closet and CRY AND PRAY..PRAY AND CRY..CRY AND PRAY..AND PRAY AND CRY SOME MORE..CAST ALL YOUR CARES AND YOUR HEARTBREAKS ON HIM FOR HE CARES FOR YOU...PRAY FOR YOUR MATE WHO VIOLATED YOUR MARRIAGE AND YOUR MARRIAGE BED..PRAY FOR THE PERSON HE/SHE WAS IN THE AFFAIR WITH BECAUSE THAT PERSON HAS PUT THEIR SOUL IN DANGER ALSO. THE ENEMY HAS BLINDED EVEN THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE COMFORTABLE WITH DOING IT..BECAUSE THEY WOULD BE FINE WITH THE THOUGHT OF YOUR MARRIAGE BEING OVER BECAUSE OF THEIR AFFAIR WITH YOUR MATE ! THAT IS NOT OF GOD ITSELF..PRAY FOR THEIR DELIVERANCE !

Pray for yourself because you are going to go thru so many emotions and thoughts..you are going to try and figure out what is wrong with you..what did you do or what did you not do...what is that person doing that has gotten your mate so off track of your future plans as husband and wife ? None of those plans included a third party ! Pray for your mind because all kinds of hurtful thoughts will go through your head..from when..to where..to how..and if you have a name and face to put on the other man or woman you really have to plead the BLOOD OF JESUS OVER YOUR THOUGHTS.. ! Ask the Lord to keep you from reacting out of anger..because it can also lead to sin and no sin is greater than the other !

The enemy can not get anymore in this situation ! Do not give him the VICTORY in this situation if you have a mate who is sincerely repentive for what he/she has done and he/she has taken it to GOD and found the strenght to bring it to you and take the chance of losing you and all that God has given him under the roof of his household , THEN FORGIVE THEM ! Go forth with them..take it slow stay in prayer and take it one day at a time. Keep praying that your mate keep themselves from that point forward for only you..if you choose to forgive and stay in the marriage then go forth and heal together..CALL ALL THE LORD TOGETHER TO FIGHT THE ENEMY FOR YOU WHEN THAT SPIRIT OF ADULTERY TRIES TO REAR IT'S UGLY HEAD!

If you feel that you can not be in the marriage anymore then you are free to go GOD has given his approval in this matter for this situation. He has spoken that it is ok to divorce because the committment has been violated..if this is where it goes then you forgive ..wish them deliverance and restoration ..and go forth with your life as a single person in this world. You can not hold onto unforgiveness for the sake of your own soul ! Sometimes when we think about those wedding vows we honestly must say that we stood there never really expecting to go thru the WORST when it comes to our mate but sometimes the WORST will come and what will we do then ?

GOD LIFT UP A STANDARD AROUND ALL MARRIAGES..AND DELIVERS MATES WHO HAVE AN ADULTEROUS SPIRIT ! CONVICT THEM LORD. GIVE THEM NO PEACE IN THEIR ACTIONS. CONVICT THEM SO THEY WILL FALL DOWN BEFORE YOU AND REPENT ! OPEN THEIR EYES TO ALL THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN THEM IN THE MATE OF THEIR YOUTH AND ALL THAT YOU HAVE PUT UNDER THEIR HANDS..MAKE THEM TO SEE THE BLESSING AND TO SEE THE 'DECEIT AND TRICKERY' OF THE ENEMY ! HEAR THEIR PRAYERS..FORGIVE THEM AND RESTORE THEM ! AMEN

SO WHAT DO I SAY ABOUT BEING GAY ?

Many things are kept in dark spaces and sometimes smelly places we call CLOSETS. Things are kept there for years and sometimes no one ever sees them or sometimes they catch a glance of them BUT what happens when that thing is brought out of the closet into full view into the light. What happens when it shows up openingly and boldy out in the light for a purpose other than what the creator originally wanted it to be. Everyone around it tells IT that it is ok, it looks fine, it smells fine and it is ok with the Creator who made it for another purpose .

What do we do as Christians about any issue in this World that is against what God has said concerning it ? We pray , we show love YET we still must stand up for the Word of God and in a tone of love speak the TRUTH to it. The lifestyle of homosexuality is now completely out in the light...there is no shame, no embarrassment no desire to cover up the lust of the flesh and the trick of the enemy within the heart, mind and flesh of one of God's creations. God created us to serve him by obedience of his Word and for this obedience he promised we would have life and have it more abundantly . He also promised a crown of Life for those of us who endured to the end and who would overcome the temptations when they come....he never said they would not come he said WHEN they come. My belief in the Word of God and a God that has no part of sin causes me to believe that what i have read in the Word of God is clear...that homosexuality is a sin . What type of SIN ? An ABOMINATION before God. If we know adultery is wrong because the word says it is wrong ...how is it we do not know homosexuality is wrong also...the word says it is unnatural that it is an abomination before God having unnatural affectioins man towards man and woman towards woman...it says we leave the natural use of our bodies when we do such things.

How do you minister to someone caught up in this attack by the devil upon their minds and their hearts and their flesh ? We do it no differently than any other sin....we pray for others, we pray for a spirit of repentance, we pray for them to receive the Word we bring in LOVE and mostly we pray for their deliverance from this spiritual bondage. We do not HATE them and we do not speak hate to them, we can not speak their end over them because is a DELIVERER ! This i know from testimonies he performed with my loved ones in my life in various areas of bondage and with me also. Itching ears do not want to hear the TRUTH they want to hear acceptance of what they are doing. They want to hear what sounds good. They want to hear that God loves them but they do not want to know what will be their place in eternity if they do not live their lives as someone who loves God. The Word says if you love God keep his commandments. The entire bible is the WILL of God. The things he has commanded us to do. Some words spoken directly by Jesus Christ , some words given to the apostles for our lives by Jesus Christ thru the Holy Spirit , divine inspiration ,poured into them by Jesus to help us live our lives as such they may be pleasing in his sight. Though persons caught up in this spider web do not want to hear it ...they can not change the Word of God and make it into a LIE.

HOMOSEXUALITY IS WRONG AND IF YOU DO NOT REPENT...IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE..IF YOU LEAVE THIS WORLD WITH THAT SAME SPIRIT WITHIN YOU PRACTICING AND BELIEVING IN SUCH AN ABOMINATION YOU WILL MAKE HELL YOUR HOME FOR ETERNITY...AND YES HELL IS REAL.

God reserved it for satan and his imps that do his bidding and serve him. He never reserved it to be the home of his children but he will not force us to LOVE him or SERVE him. He knocks at the door but we must decide to open it and let him come in and live with us. But anything that is not of God is not with or for God so it is against God and that is EVIL and it is a LIE..and Satan is the FATHER of ALL LIES ! So you must serve Satan if you are living a lie. Being Gay is not sweet, cute or funny. Television and other forms of media have put it out there to make it seem like a valid relationship. It may be valid in this world to men but men will not judge you and they will not decide where your soul will spend eternity. There will be no bill passed in heaven or presented before our heavenly Father on judgement day to say that this is acceptable and should be approved as being ok with God. The same men who speak about this lifestyle as being acceptable and natural will also stand before GOD on judgement day and give an account for all of their works and their words. They will stand in danger of hellfire just like all of us.

YES we all fall short and sin but what scares me about the Gay lifestyle in my observation or perception is that the person who decides he /she wants to live this abomination lifestyle does not seem to want to acknowledge that it is a sin, an abomination before God, that they could end up in hell because of this lifestyle choice.No one can tell them God is not pleased with this and they acknowledge that as the Truth...and say ' I know that i am doing wrong and it is not pleasing to God'. Where is the tiny seed of remorsefulness, regret, shame and repentance in this sin ? Adulterers, Liars, Murderers, Lustful Thinkers and other spirits within our clay forms know that what you did or doing is wrong....you know it ! But no sin is greater than the others...these sins the worlds seems to acknowledge as wrong but HOMOSEXUALITY they seem to want to excuse to cover up with a sweet perfum but to GOD he still smells the STINCH of the Sin and what he sees is all that matters !

I could have chosen to discuss many other sins today but i chose this one because it seems like the world has just gone crazy and it is effecting our young people who are suppose to be the next generation to serve GOD but instead in an early stage of development they are being sucked in by this lifestyle by help from other homosexuals, television, books, relatives and friends. MISERY loves company and the DEVIL sure won't mind having some when God locks him down in a fiery pit of HELL ! Satan HATES us. We have taken back dominion of this earth thru the death of Jesus Christ and he hates it ! He does not want us to know we have the power and authority thru Jesus to cast him down and to defeat him thru the power of the HOLY GHOST. He does not want a generation who KNOWS WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST so he is feeding this poison into the minds, hearts and souls of our young people who are suppose to be our future prayer warriors, intecessors and armor bearers and just plain LOVERS OF GOD.

Knowing we are not worthy BUT by the blood of Jesus to even enter into the presence of GOD thru prayer but by Jesus our high priest and our advesary. ALL SIN brings about death. This one concerns me because of the denial of those who practice it and the denial of the world concerning that it is a sin ! Let us study our Word to show ourselves approved as a workman that rightly divideth the word of Truth. If we talk to a brother or sister about God's Word concerning this abomination we must be prepared to tell them where to go and read it for themselves. NEVER just let someone tell you go and read the WORD OF GOD for yourself. Know it to be true for yourself.

ROMANS 1:18-32. Read all of this but especially pray for your love ones in this situation. Verse 25-28 says that the gentiles changed the truth of God into a lie. They chose to worship the enemy instead of God. So he gave them up to VILE AFFECTIONS for even their WOMEN did change the natural use into that which is against nature and likewise ALSO the men, leaving the natural use of the woman , burned in their lust one toward another, men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in THEIR KNOWLEDGE, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.

Brothers and Sisters, know that GOD will render to every man according to his deeds-Roman 2:6, To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:-Romans 2:7, BUT unto them that are contentious and do not obey the truth , but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish , upon EVERY SOUL OF MAN that doeth evil, of the Jew first , and also of the Gentile-Romans 2:8-9.

Revelations 20:11-15: 'And i saw a great white throne and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away and there was found no place for them. And i saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the BOOK OF LIFE and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man according to their works. And DEATH and HELL were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

I say again, ALL SIN IS UNRIGHTEOUSNESS ! But this just seems to scare me...it seems as though the poor souls caught up in it do not want to acknowledge the wrong..until you acknowledge it you can not have a spirit of conviction and repentance..that is for all sin ! I want to cry when i see our beautiful girls and our handsome boys dressing like the opposite sex to the point you can not quite tell the difference. It is an outward show of confusion...and confusion is not of GOD. It is of the enemy. The children our future, must be taught about God and his Word..not just that he loves us but also that he does not want us to perish but he will not force himself upon us and he will watch over his word to perform it..all of it even the eternal damnation to hell of our souls if we do not choose to live our lives according to what is pleasing in his sight...BECAUSE YES HE IS ALSO A GOD OF WRATH...STILL !

His Word commands us to teach our children his ways and his Word . We must do that and we must share it with them and allow them to read it for themselves. Deuteronomy 11:18-19, THEREFORE shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by they way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

I will end this moment of 'sharing and outpour' with this...Let us all pray one for another...let us repent daily for in this flesh is no good thing. Let us ask God for deliverance from the spirits of evil that bind us or try to bind us in thought, word, deed and action. Let us ask for God to clean our hearts. Let us ask for the right words to share with our brothers and sisters when we see them doing those things that are not pleasing in his sight. Let us ask for the right time and the right season to approach them if we are suppose to. Maybe we are to just pray and let them see Jesus Christ in us and let them see our struggles also and how we go thru and turn to the Lord for help. We all have sinned and come short of the Glory of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:16-For a just MAN falleth seven times, and riseth up again; but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

YOU pray for me and i will pray for you. I do not write this and share it as a SAINT...I am far from it but i am not what i use to be due to age , wisdom and experiences all because God has allowed me to go thru and to mess up and to get back up again. Even now i still need deliverance and prayer but i know enough to be HONEST with God and man. I am not perfect but i am moving forward and growing all the time..I pray we all grow and mature spiritually and most of all be deliverd from what binds us out of the WILL OF GOD no matter what the SIN. -AMEN . SELAH.

THE COVENANT OF HUSBAND AND WIFE

Marriage is more than a notion. It is more than being the entire center of attention for one day and having a great big party with your family and friends. It takes more than looking good in your tuxedo and gown to make it last...to do it the way God's Word has commanded us to do it to the END till DEATH do us part. Juanita Bynum said on her CD a few years ago, that 'Marriage is for grown folks'. Having been binded to my husband for 14 years i know that that is not just concerning the age of two people, it means emotionally, mentally and SPIRITUALLY ! You really do need to have a relationship with the Lord that grows and grows and grows each year , each day, each month you are married because the enemy will come and he will devise temptations and lies and deceptions to try to make you step out of your covenant agreement with GOD.

You do not just become husband and wife, you enter into an agreement with the Lord to stay with each other thru rich, poor, sickness and health. The words not spoken but that should be obvious since dedicating to spend all of your days on earth together as husband and wife should be in each person's understanding is thru disagreements, financial hardships, bad decisions about the household, words spoken out of anger, ignorance of the best way to handle a situation, lack of consideration and YES even sometimes the violation of the marriage bed, Adultery, if a mate can pray his way thru this and allow the Lord to heal them. If the guilty party has a spirit of repentance you as a couple can go thru any of these situations. If there is a true desire to repent from these actions based on flesh in which is no good thing, you can make it.

As a couple you need to be able to identify the tricks of the enemy. You should have a desire to stand against him together side by side...if you step a part he can get in the middle and that is not where he is suppose to be ! We all fall down as creations in flesh. We all come short of the glory of GOD but we have to have enough within us to want to get up. We need to learn the Word of God for ourselves concerning all areas of our lives but right now i am addressing the Covenant of Marriage. Sometimes our mates will speak words that can put things in motion that may take years to heal from...they can speak words that will cause your heart to not feel the Trust, Dedication and Committment of Love you once felt for them . This is because just as the Bible tells us, words are spirit they set things in motion. Those things can be good or they can be bad but our mouth the words we speak set them in motion. They can create a smooth breeze flowing even in a difference in opinions or it can set in motion a tidal wave that will crush the other person verbally mind, body and soul. If we want to be like Jesus we have to talk like Jesus , We have to walk like Jesus and We have to act like Jesus towards our mate even when our flesh says we should just blow off the steam and fix it later . THAT IS THE ENEMY !

Am i 'preaching' to another couple ? No. My husband and i also are flesh and we do not always communicate with each other the way that we should and the enemy has put lies in our heads about each others words, intentions, actions and committment BUT for the Holy Spirit within this earthen vessel we would not be convicted to repent of our ways before the Lord with a sincere heart. We would not be able to go to our mate and not say 'I am sorry', but ask them to FORGIVE US. God's Word never list the words 'I AM SORRY' ! Acknowledge the pain you have put in another person's heart you have committed an offense which creates a spirit of offense you must act for FORGIVENESS from the mate you violated with your mouth , word, deeds or actions. The enemy hates that because God's way is to forgive and when we can humble ourselves as God's Word has commanded and acknowledge his spirit within our temples, We remind the enemy that we know who GOD is and we know that he died for our sins so we may be forgiven of them ALL because he has the power to heal even in relationships.

Does the heart of the one we love you joined to always heal immediately ? NO. It can sometimes take awhile because it has been wounded and all wounds take time to heal but each day as you look at the wound you see progress, you see it in the process of healing and you know that one day it will be complete. As married couples we must have a forgiving heart so we can heal and go forth together do not let the enemy stop you from going forth into the destiny GOD has for you all. ENJOY JESUS together as a dear sweet Chrisitian Mother, Sis. Dennis, once said when describing her relationship with her deceased husband to the congregation. Those words went into my heart, mind and soul and it seemed to be the answer to marriage right there in those few words. ENJOY JESUS TOGETHER ! Together you can go to his altar in prayer, fast, praise him, worship him, STAND and wait on him, BIND AND LOOSE, Watch him move on your behalf and watch him turn your situations around no matter what the physical eye shows.

1 PETER 3 discusses the relationship of the husband and the wife. Every single person, engaged and married should read this scripture. You should read it before accepting a marriage proposal, you should read it while planning a wedding , you should read it to remind yourself of God's way after you are married. You should read it alone and with your spouse or future spouse. Have a good understanding of how it is suppose to be. If any man Lack Wisdom let him ask and God will give it to him ....according to what the Word of God says. 1 Peter advises women to be in subjection to your OWN husbands that if any obey not the word, they also without the word be won by conversation of the wives. We are back to those Words being spirit again. The husband may be what he is suppose to be, may not be where you are spiritually, may be making the decisions of wisdom you think he should be but YOUR WORDS can form the outcome. Do not murder him with your tongue. Speak words of support and love.

Talk with him and to him not about him and at him. Allow him to make decisions and give your opinion in a loving way but if he is de termine then you just subject yourself. Pray. Go into your prayer closet and give it to JESUS ! I am not telling you what sounds good i am telling you my own TESTIMONY in my own MARRIAGE. Put that thing at the altar watch GOD move on your behalf. Whether he changes your husband's mind and decision or allows him to go thru his TEST because of his own decision GOD will bring it to light to your husband if he made a bad decision or acted in a manner that did not reflect the LORD. BUT he must see the right way thru prayer and actions that are of GOD . He must see and hear that thru YOU. Because you say you are his HELPMATE. His good thing . Is it easy ladies ? NO. We have to pray for the Lord just to bridle our tongues..and let's not even discuss our necks rolling, screaming and the thoughts in our heads. LORD HAVE MERCY ! I plead the blood of JESUS over all that MESS ! The Word says, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit , is in the sight of God of great price. Let's work on that ladies !

HUSBANDS i have not forgotten about you....the spiritual head of the household. You are responsible for the spirituality of everyone under your roof in your castle that you share with your QUEEN. The Word commands you to dwell with us according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life that YOUR prayers not be hindered. LOOK AT THAT ...RIGHT BACK TO ENJOYING JESUS TOGETHER BASICALLY...IT SAYS 'YOUR 'PRAYERS. Pray for each other and with each other. Stand together in your castle against everyone who speaks against your belief . Stand against family or friends it does not matter. If someone comes into your home with the spirit of arrogance because of their relationship to one of you, shows disrespect to either one of you concerning the rules in your home and your beliefs you are to stand with your mate against that spirit of rebellion and witchcraft because that is what it is. Do not allow someone else especially, a family to speak against or act against your mate in a manner that shows disrespect. ESPECIALLY in your home. Being a christian couple there are certain things you do and do not allow in your home . Do not slack on those beliefs for family or friends.

ESTABLISH you stand together with Christ ! Many times when it comes to family and friends it is not about what you say it is about what you do. If your mate has been offended or disregarded by a family member or friend it is your duty to speak privately with them and let them know your love and committment to your mate . You must support the request of the Woman of the House. It is her castle anyone else other than her King and her Princess they are as servants. Show respect to her when in her castle. Even if they may not agree they are to show her respect for her p osition in your life and vice-versa for the man. If they can not abide in peace and respect within your castle then bless them with what they need to move out and move on sending the Peace of the Lord with them. Because family and friends can be used also by the enemy to destroy your marriage.

You can be looking at the face of a family member or friend but not see with your spirit that the enemy is addressing you. He is using that person to seperate you because of your love for them . You forget that you have forsaken all others loving no other the way you love your wife, except GOD. You are to love your mate next to GOD. Try the spirit and know if it is of GOD. Am i speaking to any of you married folks out there with sisters, nieces, nephews, Mommas, Dads, Uncles and Aunts that have come into your castle and acted as though your mate was irrelevant ? That have done and said what they want to in your domain because of their relationship with your mate. THEY ARE OUT OF THE WILL OF GOD ! You need to address that spirit right from the moment it reels up it's ugly head !

I am just offering WORDS of LIFE to married couples . I am speaking from my own growth in the Word of the Lord and from my own test and trials in this covenant of marriage. It is not always peace and love because we do not always deal with each other the way the Word says we should but we must learn the word concerning all areas of our lives with each other. GOD BLESS YOU AND LIFT UP A HEDGE ALL AROUND YOUR MARRIAGE-AMEN

WHY AREN'T WE LOVING JESUS ?

On this earth when someone makes a BIG sacrifice for us we do not forget it. The act shows us that they love us and are truly a friend to us. What greater love than a friend lay down his/her life for us ? Would them losing their life for something we did be the ULTIMATE to us ? Would we beg them not to do it because we know we are the guilty party and not them..that we deserve the penalty because it was US and not them that broke the law ? Those of us that have the Holy Spirit within us would be convicted....and if the sentence was carried out upon the innocent for us we would be so humbled and self convicting knowing they did not deserve the sentence passed down.

WELL....Jesus did just this thing and we as Christians seem to forget just how high a price he really paid because he loved us enough to finish the LAW...to do for us what the LAW could not do because no one else and no animal could do it. It had to be him. He loved us and his heavenly Father so much that he took on the form of an earthly body to come and find out just how it really is for us creatures here on this earth. He came to take on the wrath of God's judgement upon us into himself. He carried the transgressions, iniquities and SIN upon his body and caused his Father to step back because of this ALL because he wanted us not to be lost. He wants us to win ! He wants what is best for us so he did what the LAW could not ! He paid the last blood sacrifice for SINS to our heavenly father. He presented his body as a living sacrifice holy before God our Heavenly Father so that we would not be held to rememberance of our sins anymore. His blood was pure and innocent. He laid his life willingly at the altar to be given as a sacrifice of SIN so God would allow us LIFE !

Only he is able to present us spotless before the CREATOR. He is our adovacte , he is our High-Priest..he ENTERED the Holiest of Holies and went before the Lord on our behalf. We were not worthy of such a sacrifice BUT JESUS ! Stephen saw him STAND UP at the right hand of God the Father because for him Stephen made the ultimate sacrifice and laid down his life just as Jesus did for the FATHER and the whole world. Stephen laid it down for Christ because he knew. As a pastor said on televison the other day, Why do you think the disciples went thru so much pain and rebuke and beatings and scoure ? BECAUSE THEY KNEW ! THEY KNEW JESUS WAS REAL THEY SAW THE NAILS IN THE HAND AND THE FEET THEY SAW THE PIERCED SIDE AND THEY KNOW THAT HE WAS RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD..They count i all joy because they KNOW !

When you know that at the bottom of the mud, slime and gunk there is a priceless reward..when you have seen proof of it and know it has been promised to you then you do not care what you have to go thru to get to it . When you LOVE with all of your heart you do not care about the price you have to pay to be with that person again . So why is it we are not loving JESUS ? WHY are we not loving him ? All that he has done for us no MOTHER, FATHER, BROTHER, GRANDMOTHER/FATHER OR FRIEND HAS EVER DONE SO WHY AREN'T WE LOVING HIM ? Hebrews 10:1-18 tells us of the great sacrifice of Jesus for us. When he came into the world he saith, Sacrifice and Offering thou wouldest not, BUT A BODY hast thou prepared for me ! That right there makes me want to SHOUT HALLELUJIAH AND RUN FOR THE VICTORY ! The Lord has fulfilled the Law ..the law could only bring up the rememberance of sins and bring about death....JESUS thru his body took away the penalyt of death and offered eternal life and forgiveness of sins....he went into hell and preached the gospel and set those prisoners free ! We must love him enough to be obedient to his Word. We all fall short here..Jesus learned obedience by the things he suffered. He knew he had to go thru them to fulfill the WILL OF HIS HEAVENLY FATHER ! When Jesus wills things and allows things in our life we must go thru but we must do so in the manner in which he tells us in his WORD ..and how many of us really do it that way all the time ?? Let me be the first to confess with my mouth in spirit and in truth I DON'T ! Sometimes i have to put myself in rememberance of his WORD and straighten my self up ! This mouth i tell you and these thoughts....GOD has to cover them with the blood of Jesus and i have to repent daily ! Come on now ??!! I know i am NOT the only one !

READ THE WORD..PRAY...MEDITATE..REPENT DAILY....TALK TO JESUS ..JUST OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND TALK TO HIM HE IS PRESENT HE HEARS EVERYTHING, SEES EVERYTHING, READS EVERY THOUGHT, HEARS EVERY MURMUR AND SEES INTO EVERY HEART ! SO JUST TELL HIM THE TRUTH BECAUSE LOVE IS TRUTH AND RIGHTEOUSNESS ! After all the Savior has done why are we not loving him ?

MAY THE LORD CONTINUE TO PLACE HIS ANGELS AROUND YOU TO PROTECT YOU AND ALL THAT IS UNDER YOUR HAND UNTIL WE TALK AGAIN..PRAY FOR ME AND I WILL PRAY FOR YOU-FB

PRAISE THE LORD FOR ANOTHER RESURRECTION SUNDAY...WE JUST WENT TO CHURCH AND DID WHAT WE ALWAYS DO STORE THE WORD IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS AND GIVE HIM THE MUCH DESERVED PRAISE BECAUSE WE BELIEVE THAT HE LIVES AND IS WATCHING DOWN FROM HIS THRONE IN HEAVEN ! AMEN

2008 NEW BEGINNINGS AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Dear Family and Friends:

God has chosen to show GRACE and MERCY one more day....that day has gone into a new year and we are blessed to be here. One more day to strive for being what God wants us to be. I personally have gone thru heartbreaking trials and have grown from them. They have hurt me and some could have been avoided if other people who caused these trials would have put themselves in REMEMBERANCE of the WORD of GOD and identified the enemy before they gave in to the whisperings of the enemy BUT they did not and so they fell....this effected me greatly BUT GOD...he is still working on healing me and but for my growth to this point in my relationship with him i could be in an entirely different place Mentally, Emotionally and Spiritually if it were not for knowing a SOVEREIGN GOD !

Patience and Endurance , Forgiveness and Mercy...have allowed me to keep going and step over the traps of the enemy. This year i am working on binding my SOUL to the HOLY SP IRIT..to the WILL of God , The MIND of God and the EMOTIONS of the Lord...so that my flesh will bow down to the HOLY SPIRIT....and I can go thru to give GOD GLORY AND HONOR even in my t rials...for even in these he is still worthy of my praise. Why ?

BECAUSE he is MY CREATOR ! If he does not do anything else for me other than give me the breath of life each day he is MY CREATOR and that is enough for me !....STILL he has and is my PROVIDER, PROTECTOR, HEALER AND SAVIOR. I am reaching toward him to grow in my relationship with him so that he can be seen in me,,heard in me..even the fragrance of my time with the LORD should be noticeable. I seek POWER in my prayer life if it is his WILL that i receive that GIFT. I have asked but he chooses the gifts he will give us for edification of HIM and i accept his WILL though sometimes it is not easy but you have to know he knows best even then, his ways are not our ways and his thoughts are not our thoughts...we must remember that he knows the future he has for us and we do not...

My husband went on an interview this month for a job that according to the words being spoken by man was pretty much a guarantee according to MAN..but when he returned home a few days later he was informed that the job was not his .....it was given to someone else. Was this devastating ? No. but it was disappointing and somewhat unbelieveable to me BUT he and I both stopped and put the WORD of GOD into rememberance..he is still in control..he knows the needs of all his children. We do not know the needs or prayers of this man and his family. God chose to allow to give this to him so we must continue until he gives us what he has for us..HE had that job for someone else and it was given to them but he has something JUST FOR JASON AND I so we will be patient and endure and keep our spirit of expectancy that GOD will still make a way even when in the spiritual it looks like there is JUST no way.

But we must look with the spiritual because it is spiritual warfare. The Lord has chosen to put us under the microscope of JOB and i want us so much to pass this test and be pleasing to him in doing so . I want us to bring him HONOR and GLORY even in this thing because he gave his all for US....he suffered more than we ever will. He was obedient to the WILL of his FATHER and for that he was given a reward to AWESOME to even imagine..help us Lord to be like you ..put this flesh under the subjection of the HOLY SPIRIT and be obedient so that we will gain the reward you have for US !
